The Hart 20V lineup now includes two cordless buffers designed for conveniently taking your polishing work to the project, rather than the other way around. With both a 6″ model and a 10″ model available, you’ll have the tools to tackle most basic projects—large or small.

You get your choice of two 20V buffers from Hart Tools. The first, the Hart HPBF33 6″ Random Orbit Buffer, features a compact design that still delivers up to 4,400 RPM for your polishing projects.

It features a lock-on switch for continuous use. An elastic buffer bonnet lets you change buffing pads between applications easily. Possibly the most impressive aspect of this tool is that you can get up to 5 hours of run-time off a single 4.0 Ah 20V battery.

The Hart HPBF01 10″ Random Orbit Buffer shares many of the same features as the smaller model. It also gives you an elastic buffer bonnet. The difference really revolves around the size, speed, and the way you hold it during use.

Because of the bigger pad, and overall bigger build, Hart crafted it with dual D-style handles. The motor provides up to 2,900 RPM of random orbit buffing power. Because of its larger size, you can get a lot more coverage from this buffer for door panels, hoods, etc.

Like the 6-inch buffer, the Hart HPBF01 gives you a lock-on switch for working over longer periods of time. You can get up to 2-1/2 hours of run-time off a single 4.0 Ah battery pack. That’s pretty solid.

Unless you already have a buffer, this doesn’t feel like an “either or” choice. Rather, I’d likely want both models on hand to switch between larger buffing areas and smaller. You simply can’t get a 10-inch buffer everywhere you want it. That’s where having a 6-inch model handy can really help out.

Hart doesn’t seem to be targeting auto-detailers here, and you can tell by the price and feature set. These are great “weekend warrior” tools for occasional use. They’ll help you get the job done

Both Hart 20V Buffers work with any of the Hart 20V batteries. Considering the run-times noted above, pairing them with a 4.0Ah battery makes the most sense. Combined, with each having their own battery, you get 7.5 hours of run-time. I think you can get a car or two buffed in that amount of time!

You can pick up either of the Hart cordless buffers from your local Walmart, or online at Walmart.com. Both are sold as bare tools. The Hart 6″ Random Orbit Sander retails for $35, while the 10″ Random Orbit Sander retails for $39. Both come with Hart’s 3-year warranty.

Arguably one of the oldest tools known to humanity is the hammer. The irony is that we’re still trying to come up with new ways to improve it! While it might be a prehistoric tool, it’s unlikely to go extinct any time soon since most homes (at least in the USA) are still constructed out […]
