Craftsman adds to the V20 brushless line of tools with a 20V 1/2-in. Mid-Torque Impact Wrench, 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw, Two-Speed Reciprocating Saw, 4-1/2 in. Small Angle Grinder, and SDS+ Cordless Rotary Hammer. Along with these tools, Craftsman will also add a 6.0Ah and 9.0Ah battery to the V20 platform. Look for the new tools and batteries to hit shelves in summer 2020.

This impact wrench offers a brushless motor that, with a 4.0Ah battery, runs for up to 26% longer than the brushed V20 CMCF900 1/2-in. Impact Wrench. Craftsman specs that it can generate up to 275 ft-lbs of max fastening torque.

The Craftsman CMCF920 features a hog ring anvil for easy socket changes, a variable speed trigger, 2 mode settings, and an LED work light.

Craftsman claims that the brushless motor in this saw provides up to 75% more power than the brushed motor of the Craftsman 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (CMCS500B).

It features an LED worklight and a maximum bevel of 56° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45°. It comes with an upper metal guard and aluminum shoe.

Again, we’re seeing a big improvement to power with the addition of a brushless motor. Craftsman claims that this recipe generates up to 75% more power than the brushed-motor model (CMCS300).

The CMCS350 features a variable 2-speed trigger, and it can reach a no-load speed of up to 2,300 SPM. It has a reinforced pivoting shoe for better control and a tool-free blade release. An LED worklight keeps your work visible, while rubber grips protect your hands from taking a beating.

Craftsman’s small angle grinder features a brushless motor that reaches no-load speeds of up to 8,500 rpm. It features a paddle switch, a tool-free guard, and a 3-position side handle that provides versatility and comfort.

According to EPT-Procedure 05/2010, this rotary hammer delivers 2.0 joules of impact energy. It maintains up to 5,500 BPM to hammer through the tough materials. Craftsman also claims that they’ve paid special attention to the weight and balance of the design. The brushless motor maximizes runtime and efficiency.

Going over new Craftsman 20V tools may get some people very excited. However, two new battery additions are also joining the V20 platform. These include the Craftsman V20 6.0Ah and the V20 9.0Ah battery. Both work with all V20 tools and equipment and both feature a push-button 3-LED charge indicator. The 6.0Ah battery retails for $129 while the 9.0Ah battery retails for $149. The V20 Dual Port charger has a price of just $99.

Expect the 2020 additions to the Craftsman V20 line to hit Lowe’s shelves this summer. For more information, visit the Craftsman site by clicking here.

Is Craftsman coming out with a right angle drill? I would really like to have one if they did! Craftsman are the best!!!

Is it just me or are these looking decidedly Milwaukee-esque? I’d like to see Pro Tool reviews get a little more in-depth. I’d like to see tool teardowns as part of the shootouts and reviews. You can get a much better feel for how a tool is made and how it’s going to last when you take it apart. Things like where do they use bushings, where do they use ball bearings, do they use high quality synthetic lubricants or cheap hundred-year-old clay-based Grease? Where do they use sintered bronze gears, where do they use plastic gears; these things matter.…  Read more »
