At about 7.40am on May 27, an unknown male offender drove his vehicle to Kilmore District Health, and backed his vehicle up to a large digital sign that was located near the main entrance of the hospital. The offender used tools from his vehicle to remove and steal the battery, valued at $300, from the sign. The vehicle used by the offender was a burgundy sedan.

Also in Kilmore, between May 31 and June 2, unknown offenders accessed a house under construction in Smokehouse Lane.

The offenders removed the temporary fencing to gain access to the house, which is at frame stage, stealing sheets of Tongue and Grove flooring, valued at $1300.

Between 10pm on June 2 and 5.30am on June 3, unknown offenders damaged a vehicle parked at the Sugarloaf Motel, Broadford, by throwing a brick, rock or similar object at the back window causing it to smash.

Overnight on May 31, unknown offenders also damaged a vehicle parked in Tehan Street, Seymour.

Offenders damaged the vehicle by kicking the driver’s side door causing two large dents, causing damage valued at $1000.

Unknown offenders gained access to a shipping container on a farm in Kimberley Drive, Broadford, between May 17 and June 1.

Offenders cut three large padlocks from shipping container with an angle grinder or similar to gain access and stole a ‘solo’ chainsaw.

Damage to signs at the entrance to the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, DELWP, on Hume and Hovell Road, Seymour, occurred overnight on May 26.

Offenders used force to remove and rip the two signs from their posts before throwing the signs over the fence.
