Ridgid had one of the best cordless jobsite fans with its original that came out way back in 2015. Seven years later, it’s time for an update. Here’s what to expect from the latest Ridgid 18V Cordless Hybrid Jobsite Fan.
Ridgid tells us that the 18V hybrid jobsite fan offers 40% more power than its predecessor. It puts out up to 670 CFM, compared to the previous model which has an output of 475 CFM.
Another one of the major strengths of this fan is its hybrid style. An 18V 6.0Ah MAX Output battery gives you up to 7 hours of runtime on the highest speed setting.
Like the previous model, you still have the option to plug it into an extension cord for all-day use. The power cord won’t be in the way either, since the extension cord slot allows the cord to be tucked flat under the unit while plugged in.
Even with the power that this hybrid fan has, its sound level measures under 50 dBA, meaning it won’t distract you with excessive noise.
Another convenient feature is the ability to mount the fan on multiple surfaces. It has a total of 10 mounting options, which gives you the ability to customize where you want the air blowing from.
The Ridgid R860721B will be available in June 2022 at a retail price of $79. As usual for Ridgid cordless tools, it’s a Home Depot exclusive.
Ridgid backs this fan with a lifetime service agreement when you register within 90 days of purchase. The battery and charger are sold separately.
