Chicago Pneumatic has introduced its new CP74 series of ¼-in. and 6-mm pneumatic die grinders. Delivering up to 20% more power than the CP91 line, they are equipped with a locking spindle system that allows for rapid changeover of the carbide burs.

Six different heads are available: short or long, straight or angled (120 degrees and 90 degrees). The handles are made from thermoplastic rubber, and the composite casing acts as an insulator, reducing heat transfer between the motor and sleeve.

The die grinders operate between 22,000 and 28,000 RPM, depending on the model.
